Guesthouse Nina

It’s right in the center, but if I were on my own, I wouldn’t stay here. The house didn’t look like the photo, and it felt a bit strange that there was no kitchen we could use. The bedroom and beds were big, though the bedding wasn’t what we’re used to. The toilet was old-fashioned, but the WC was perfectly clean.

The apartment was well equipped, and the host was very kind and helpful. From my room I had a spectacular view right over central Sarajevo, including the famous fountain (Sebilj) from the window. Despite being so central, it was very quiet. I really recommend staying here.

One night here was enough for us, we wouldn’t stay again. The hygiene gave a bad impression: the bathtub and mirrors were dirty, the carpets were wet, and there was no shower head. Spiders and webs were all over the place too, which didn’t bother us much, but did make it seem poorly maintained. In the middle of the night the bed broke, and the toilet seat came loose. A really bad way to end our time in Sarajevo.

I stayed there for one night with my brother, and mosquitoes bit me all over during the night. The beds and couch were really old, and the mosquitoes most likely came from them. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping there.
