Harris was really friendly, and one night there was a free BBQ. It was quiet when I visited in shoulder season, so there weren't many people around. The hostel is high up the hill, which makes the walk with luggage a bit of a challenge. I stayed in the basement; it felt stuffy and dirty, but was okay.

Haris was so helpful from the start. I arrived early and he still welcomed me, then told me what to see and which tour guides were available. He even drove another guest and me into the city centre free of charge on my first day, and was always there when I called. He also arranged a shuttle to another city, which was a lifesaver. The hostel has an authentic local feel, with lovely views from some areas. Getting there involves a pleasant uphill walk past a museum of the first president, plus a free-to-enter war victim cemetery with a memorial where the late President is buried. Harris was a total legend. He took us on a fun, really informative city tour in the evening, and didn't rush my friend and me out when we were very hungover at checkout. We stayed two nights, the place was perfectly clean, and we met some nice people. Totally recommend!

The view from the balcony was great, and the hostel was nice and clean. Haris is a champ, he put on a BBQ for everyone one night and runs a great tour of the town. I'd definitely stay here again.

The family atmosphere was really good, and Haris was friendly and ready to help anytime. He even offered us shots. The hostel itself could use some improvement. It was clean, though not that clean, the shower water wasn't always hot, and the wifi could be stronger. The location gives you a good view and is 10 min from the old city, but it's really high up, so getting back is hard at the end of the day or after a hard night.
