Hostel Vagabond

The hostel has good facilities, a nice staff, and a great location. I cut my stay short because two guests were talking about politics in a rude way, and the staff noticed but didn’t intervene. I didn’t feel comfortable, and I hope you’ll step in next time. In response to the host, I wasn’t talking about that specific conflict, but about the general situation. There’s a difference between expressing opinions and attacking a guest and making him uncomfortable because of his nationality. I didn’t express any opinion and avoided political subjects altogether. If you can’t host guests and treat them well regardless of nationality, where they’re from, or where they live, I truly pity you and the guests staying there. Good luck.

The location is ideal, and everyone working there, including the owner, is really nice. They even have beer on tap! The bus station is kind of far, which is the only downside. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were very helpful, and you couldn’t ask for a more central location. I’d recommend Vagabond hostel as a base for exploring Sarajevo.

It’s a clean, cozy hostel with a warm, welcoming feel and a nice social vibe that doesn’t get too loud. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the heart of Sarajevo while still in a peaceful area. The owner is genuinely kind, and the staff are very friendly and professional. Great for solo travellers or anyone who enjoys good energy. Definitely deserves 5 stars.
