At checkout, the staff tried to charge us for wine we hadn’t had. When we disputed it, they accused us of taking it instead of properly checking their records. That was completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We’d paid nearly 1000 marks for our stay, so it seems quite unlikely we’d steal an 8-mark bottle of wine. The receptionist working at 08:00 on 2025.10.16 could use some customer service training, or perhaps should write a resignation letter. A very disappointing experience.

A good little hotel, with clean, comfortable rooms and a welcome breakfast to start the day. It’s central and easy to find, with public transport, cafés, restaurants and Sarajevo’s traditional quarter all easy to reach. Highly recommended as a place to stay.

The location is amazing, and the rooms are reasonably clean, but the service was below par and there wasn’t much attention to detail. In person it’s more run-down than in the pictures: the sheets were torn, the plumbing leaked into a puddle under the sink, with a towel there to catch it, and the hot breakfast arrived cold. There were 18 body washes but no shampoo. You get the idea. If location is all you care about, this is a good find.

We had a lovely stay, and I’d highly recommend it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely, and the reception staff were very helpful. It’s right in the heart of the city. There’s also access to the swimming pool at Hotel Europa!

It’s right in the center of the old town, and that location seems to be all this place has going for it. The bedroom electrics are dangerous, see pics, reception service verges on rude, and there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. A terrible hotel, shabby, unloved and poorly maintained.
