Hotel Villa Harmony

The neighborhood is quiet, with a few places to eat nearby, though getting to them means walking uphill. The hotel itself is a nice budget option, with very clean rooms and common areas. Our room looked a little dated, but in a pleasant way, not worn out or creepy. Staff were helpful, and breakfast was modest but tasty. It’s uphill from public transport, so be ready for a walk if you’re without a car. There’s parking in front if you drive. We had a great stay.

Free parking beside Villa Harmony was handy, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. The hillside setting gives you a sweeping view over Sarajevo. Breakfast was decent too. I’d happily recommend it to people visiting the city.

I felt safe and welcome as soon as I arrived, which made Villa Harmony a lovely choice for my first solo trip in Europe. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the staff were warm and helpful. Bosnia really surprised me in the best way. I only wish I’d had more time to see the country. Highly recommend!!!

The one real plus was free parking in front of the hotel. My wife and I booked through a third party for our honeymoon, and we left very disappointed. Our room was far smaller than the photos suggested, with barely enough floor space for our travel bag or to move around. The hotel isn’t in the city center. It’s a short drive, but walking down is a long, steep, difficult trek. The staff were kind, but when we asked to switch to a bigger room and offered to pay more, they said it wasn’t possible even though the hotel wasn’t full. The sheets were old, worn, and dirty, and the sink, mirror, and floor were unclean. The shower room had no door or cabinet, and the showerhead wasn’t mounted on the wall, so we had to hold it the whole time. It was very uncomfortable. There wasn’t a kettle, tea, or even coffee in the room either.
