Pansion Fočin Han

The location was good, and some people at reception were helpful, but that was all we liked. We booked a room as a family with two small children and found it tiny and cramped, with one window looking onto a neighboring building. The air barely circulated and it was hard to breathe. The bathroom was very small and hadn't been cleaned properly. We paid, then decided not to stay, and got no refund. The price was extremely high for what we were offered. Unacceptable, and not even worth one star.

We spent three nights at Focin Han during our Sarajevo vacation. It's right in the old town, which is a real plus, and the rooms were fairly clean. There was parking at the property. On the downside, our window faced a wall, there was no fridge, and some staff were impolite. There was no breakfast option either, and for what we paid, the quality didn't match the price.

Amel at reception was so kind and answered all my questions. They also let me stay until 1:00 PM, which I appreciated. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of Sarajevo next to Sebilj, and there's a free parking spot. The owner has made some really interesting art pieces himself. I had a great stay and would recommend it.

We were exhausted, so we stayed, even after the receptionist treated us like thieves while asking where our other friend had gone. The air conditioner smelled disgusting, and the staff came across as untrained and very rude. I thought check-out was at 11:00 a.m., but at 10:20 a.m. the woman knocked and rudely told me, 'Go, go check out...' I rushed out and threw 5 euros at her face to shut her up. Never visit this motel!!!
