Residence Inn Orijent

We spent five nights here in July 2025 and had a great stay. We liked the quieter location, which was close to smaller restaurants, ATMs, a big mall, museums, and other places. The old town was a 10-minute walk away and very congested, so we were glad to be a little outside it. The rooms connect to a small cafe restaurant, but ours was large and comfortable and we barely heard any noise. The AC was cold, the shower hot, and there was a fridge. We heard no street noise. Check-in was easy and the place was easy to find. Breakfast was included, with a good menu selection and food that really impressed us. On three days we had early tours and would miss breakfast, so they kindly packed us a couple of amazing sandwiches and coffee to go. When we checked out, the gentleman working there was absolutely wonderful: he arranged our airport taxi and let us stay a little longer after checkout. We’d definitely recommend the place and stay again.

The place is brand new and has a guesthouse feel, with rooms and breakfast. The staff are friendly and the prices reasonable. Our room was comfortable, well equipped, and, above all, clean. There’s no daily room cleaning, and breakfast is served from 9 to 10 a.m., with omelets and very good sandwiches to choose from. The Wi-Fi and hot water could be better.

The staff were attentive and kind, but I wouldn’t stay here or recommend it. The breakfast was very limited and served for a very short time, which doesn’t suit people who like to head out on morning tours. The entrance is awful. The rooms are decent, but too bright, with poor sound insulation. The bath towels were face-towel sized, and there’s no daily cleaning. This place is nowhere near a four-star hotel. Calling it two stars at most would be more honest, and then perhaps I’d choose it if the price matched what a two-star hotel is worth. Being kind to guests should be a given.
