The location is hard to beat, but be ready for the rest. Getting to the room means climbing two or three flights of narrow stairs. They ask you to put used toilet paper in the trash instead of flushing it, and the bathroom smell was bad enough to make me feel sick. They suggest parking at Europe Hotel, which costs $2 an hour or $20 for 24 hours. There’s nowhere to stop and unload, so you have to carry your luggage a couple of blocks. Bring a small car because the parking spaces are tight. I’d never stay here again.

The location in Sarajevo is about as good as it gets, and the staff were really nice and helpful. There’s a little book in the room with useful details about transport and tips for the city. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Check-in was easy, and the place also has a tour company office, which is handy. The office closes fairly early, but the cards they provide make getting in straightforward. I was on the top floor; my room was large enough, with a fairly comfortable bed and a decent-sized bathroom. The location is great, right at the edge of the Bascarsija and next to the Latin Bridge.

The host was thoughtful and friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are amazing, with stylish decor and new equipment, plus a fantastic view. It’s right in the heart of the Old town, in the city center. We’d definitely recommend this place.

It’s a great place in a central location, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Make sure you bring cash to pay for the room.
