I stayed here with my brother and was really happy with it. It’s quiet, affordable, and the kitchen has all the essentials. The toilets were clean, and they cleaned the common areas every morning. Amelie, one of the operating staff, was especially helpful. We asked how to get to Belgrade, and she spent ten minutes explaining it without getting impatient, even though my English isn’t very good. I’d come back and recommend this hostel.

Watch out. If I could, I’d give this place zero stars. We came as a large group and weren’t given the number of beds we’d booked. Two cell phones were stolen in the kitchen, and at the end the owner tried to charge us for keys he had never handed out. The staff seemed overwhelmed, cleanliness left much to be desired, and the hostel was poorly equipped. There were only two showers, nowhere near enough. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The first things we noticed were a bad smell, dirty halls, and an unclean kitchen. Staff were disorganized and rude from the start, and our sheets were crumpled, unchanged, and covered in hair, which we guessed belonged to earlier guests. We were a group of 35 and had rented the whole hostel. In the middle of the night, the visibly drunk owner came into the kitchen, shoved a small Spanish girl against the wall, then picked up another Spanish girl and hit her onto the floor. He sat down and started talking about the Bosnian war. Some things were stolen during our stay, including mobile phones and money, and we concluded it was very possibly staff who took them, so be careful. We weren’t causing trouble or being rude, but the owner still tried to force money from guests and made false claims about a debt. He pushed people around and threatened to kill us, take our kidneys, and steal our jackets, speaking in Bosnian. We believe he falsely claimed he was a policeman with connections. We asked for a receipt for the money we paid and didn’t get one. We only didn’t call the police because we were scared, in a foreign country, and rushing to catch the bus, which he took advantage of. Stay safe. Other groups told us Kutcha hostel and Franz Ferdinand hostel were awesome, clean, and had nice staff.

Please think of your safety and find somewhere else. A boy came into the room early in the morning and stole a girl's belongings, and nobody did anything. The owner was rude and misogynistic. I do not recommend this hostel at all. Don't go!

I really liked the kitchen, common areas, computer, balcony, and the other guests during my two nights here. But a lot of guests were reporting bed bugs. My friend had to change beds twice, and I think I was okay, though honestly I’m not sure. We told the staff, but they did nothing. Avoid this place until the bed bug problem is resolved. Vacuuming the bed alone doesn’t fix it. Even if everything else is perfect, not being able to use the beds ruins a hostel stay.
