This hotel is way too expensive for what it offers, and it definitely isn't a 4 star hotel. The heating in the rooms is shockingly high, making it hard to breathe, and you can't turn it down. The restaurant tablecloths were extremely dirty. Our bathroom had a wall mounted container with no clear indication of what was in it, and no shampoo options. In our current room, a broken picture has glass that looks ready to fall out. There's no coffee or tea in the room, which I'd expect in a 4 star hotel. Our other room had two glasses and a mini bar price list, but no mini bar. Don't be fooled into thinking this is 4 star.

The location is beautiful, but the food, service, and rooms were horrible. The food was nasty, and the server kept circling around us, saying we better finish the whole plate and not waste it. He was rude to my friends and me the entire time. Our rooms were very cold, and there was no warm water in the bathroom. Horrid.

The price was high for what we got, so I changed our plan from three nights to just one. One staff member had a bad attitude toward us and seemed unhappy to have us there, while smiling with other people. I noticed the difference in how he spoke to us more than once. Maybe he was drunk, which would be bad enough, but I worry it could have been about where we're from. This hotel doesn't deserve even one star.

The pool was warm and clean, and the hotel is close to the ski lift. Parking isn't easily accessible. The rooms are a bit old and could be cleaner. There's a halal certificate for the restaurant, though alcohol is available at the hotel.

We asked for a traditional dish with kajmak and couldn't believe they didn't have it, especially since Vlašić is known for its traditional dairy products. I first visited in 2004, when it was presented as the country's best hotel or motel of its kind. I've been back several times over the years. People say the interior hasn't changed, but now it looks old.
