Rafting Camp Grand Tara

The rafting was a special, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Filip, Boro and Boka were the best hosts, and the cabins were cute and cosy. The food was delicious and plentiful, the rakija was amazing, and there’s even a sauna!

The rafting day was one of the best things we’ve ever done. We booked the one-night stay and rafting package with three meals, and it was good value. We got a welcome drink, then plenty of tasty food in a lovely dining room. The outdoor setting is stunning, and the accommodation is basic but comfortable. The hosts were friendly and flexible too.

We paid 15€ each, 30€ total, for a bungalow with its own bathroom. It was clean, had hot water, and sat under the trees. The camp is just as it looks, and then some, with very polite, friendly people. It’s pet friendly too. We also had a tasty Italian-style breakfast with two coffees for 8€. Definitely good value for money!

We only had one night because the rest of our trip was already planned, but we wished we could stay longer. I brought the kids for a different kind of adrenaline holiday, and they loved the rafting. It was well organized and a really enjoyable experience, so we’ll come back for another adventure. Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. The accommodation was nice and clean with all the amenities except A/C, which would have helped on those hot summer days. It got pleasantly cool at night and was great for sleeping. The traditional food was also delicious. Two thumbs up for our hosts and this beautiful place!
