Villa La Paloma

The villa’s view and location are incredible. We kept wanting to stay on the terrace with sundowners each evening instead of heading out. It’s a great all-around place, whether you’re there with family or friends. We also saw turtles hatch right in front of the house, which was incredible. I couldn’t recommend this amazing stay more highly.

Candy welcomed us with such a warm smile and looked after us brilliantly. She’s cheerful, a great cook, and mixes superb cocktails. La Paloma feels like a home from home, spacious and comfortable, with lovely, tasteful touches that make you feel at ease right away. The big upstairs terrace, overlooking the garden and sea, is the natural gathering spot. There’s an interesting mix of plants in the garden, then the beach and water just beyond it. Walking straight out of the house to snorkel is amazing. We saw turtles, rays, Moray eels, and plenty more marine life. I enthusiastically recommend this delightful villa.

Candy was a highlight of our stay. She’s an amazing chef, and everything she made tasted wonderful and seemed cooked with love. La Paloma felt like home as soon as I walked in, while still being luxurious and full of amenities. We enjoyed dinners on the terrace at sunset, quick swims in the pool, long sunbathing sessions in the garden, and movie nights with family and friends. The villa sits right on the beach in a neighbourhood close to everything, surrounded by tall trees and colorful flowers that made it feel connected to nature.

Snorkelling just outside the villa gave us a wonderful chance to teach our son about marine life. The rock formations and variety of fish were amazing. We even spotted Humpback whales from the balcony, then saw them again later on a catamaran trip. Ask the owners to help arrange one, it’s a must! We also asked Candy, the amazing chef we’d read about, to make frozen tamarind cocktails. She had some real tricks up her sleeves. Her sesame tuna, flying fish, and Mexican feast were all divine. The owners and operators deserve credit for this incredible villa. My wife, son, friends, and I had a stunning time in Barbados. La Paloma beach villa is incredible.
