We were meant to stay at Coral Lane Beach apartment. David Bethune, who received our deposit through money gram, asked us to send half of the $320 US payment to secure the room. After we got to Barbados, he said he couldn't get a receptionist to check us in. We spent the whole day trying to get him to arrange a room, but by 10:00 p.m. he still hadn't. We had to book somewhere else. The next day we asked for our money back, but he refused and then threatened us, saying he could get dirty. We went to the police for help. When they tried to contact him, the cell phone we'd been using to reach him was turned off.

Hotels.com were reluctant to represent me, even though I'd booked through them, and were evasive about returning my calls or passing on messages. I couldn't make my trip because of the Coronavirus, but the hotel was uncooperative too. They refused to offer either a full or partial refund and wouldn't return my calls. I found the company's return policy misleading. It says a percentage of the money paid will be returned, but that hasn't been true in my experience. Be warned if you're thinking of staying at this apartment in Barbados.

The sea view was beautiful, and the setting was lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the host and hostess were friendly.

The rooms at Coral Lane Apartments feel like a home away from home, and the amenities make it easy to cook your own meals. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the location is great. I strongly recommend the place and would stay again anytime I visit my hometown. Ten thumbs up 👍 May God bless Mr.and Mrs. Jeff, wonderful people.

The host was lovely to work with and very accommodating. With the fish market right across the street and the location so convenient, it was just right for a complete decompress.
