Pirate's Inn

Trudelle, the hostess and bartender, was a real highlight. She was warm, funny, happy to answer questions, and went out of her way to point us toward places to explore on the island. Chef Randy's food was fantastic, too. The place itself was clean and welcoming, and all the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Thanks to Trudelle and the whole Pirates Inn team, we had a lovely stay.

You can reach the chemist, a shop, and several places to eat, including Subway, KFC, and Burger King, in about two minutes on foot. Across the road, it's roughly 40 steps to the beautiful white-sand beach. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our rooms were comfortable, though they didn't all have the same things: the first had a frying pan, but the second didn't, and there was no gas hob lighter. We asked at reception and they sorted it straight away.

It's been a few years since I was there, but I absolutely loved it. In my opinion, this is the best island and hotel in the Caribbean. It's a little cheaper than Sandy Lane, too. I reckon the bad reviews come from people pretending to be something they're not, what you'd call posers.

A very good budget hotel, and the staff are really friendly even if the service is just okay. The rooms are okay too. It's right across the street from just about everything tourists might want to see or do in the evening, so the location is absolutely the best.
