We had a private spot on the beach, which was wonderful. Our first week of April in Barbados was absolutely lovely, and Bluff House suited our needs perfectly. The resident Crab and the monkeys in the trees delighted my grandchildren. The staff treated us like visiting family. Mark, the chef, delighted us with every meal and managed our many dietary needs, and our butler, Kimberly, was fantastic to work with. We had a wonderful time.

Bluff House is beautiful and very well kept, but the butler, Kimberly, made us feel unwelcome and spoiled a stay we’d been looking forward to. We were there in April 2024 to host our wedding reception on the grounds. We tried to avoid her and tipped her during our stay, hoping her attitude might improve, but we kept tiptoeing around her after several outbursts toward our guests. The worst was when she followed my mother to the beach and yelled at her in front of all our wedding guests for using the beach access at our other rented villa. We raised the unprovoked incidents with Sarah Young Concierge and Young Estates. They agreed to speak with us, but still haven’t scheduled a time for that conversation. We wouldn’t recommend Bluff House specifically for weddings. This was the last thing we wanted to worry about, and management fell short of the professionalism and customer service expected from a luxury estate rental, with little communication or acknowledgment of what happened.

We booked her for our wedding through Young Estates, and Sarah Young Concierge planned everything to perfection. The villa is spectacular, the staff are beyond words, and the property is absolutely beautiful.
