Hidden Gem Barbados

Hidden Gem was a lovely, peaceful base for exploring the South and East of the Island, including my favourite Woman’s Bay. It felt like coming back to a cool, beautiful oasis each time. Everything was just right, and I especially loved the breakfast omelettes. Thanks, Ameena and Ann-Marie, for a great stay. Xx

We stayed five glorious days in March. The Parisian room was bright and spacious, and there were lots of shaded spots to lounge around. The pool was clean and inviting, and the decor is beautiful. The meals were delicious, and that was the best rum punch I've ever had. Anne-Marie and Ameena made us feel at home and did everything they could to keep us comfortable. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but we felt safe walking around the quiet residential area. Enterprise beach and Oistins are 10 minutes away. Long Beach is walkable, with a mile of sandy shore, though you can't swim in The Atlantic there. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

When our flight home was cancelled at the last minute, Ann-Marie and Ameena quickly found a way to accommodate us. They're incredibly gracious hosts, and the rooms are beautiful and each one feels unique. This place offers more than a typical B&B. The cook made delicious meals from an extensive menu. Silver Rock Beach is about a 10 minute walk for swimming, relaxing, or watching the world class kite surfers.

We booked at the last minute because we needed to be near the airport, and were so glad to find Hidden Gem. The room was really comfortable, and the pool and shared spaces are gorgeous. Ann-Marie and Ameena were wonderful hosts. We were pleasantly surprised by the food available on site, and it was so good. We loved staying here.
