Silver Sands Beach Villa #3 - 4bd

There were very few people around when we stayed, but it's a really nice place. After everyone missed their flights, they squeezed in a huge party for us and were accommodating, even keeping the restaurant open late. The rooms have AC, and it seemed like paradise for kite surfers. There were tons of them out on the waves in the morning.

The kind, helpful staff were the best part of my stay. People clearly come with different expectations, but I found the property tired and unlike the polished website photos. The restaurant food was acceptable, though the menu, flavors, and presentation weren't outstanding. One night it closed early, and there was no other nearby option. The pool is small for a property of this size, and the beach area wasn't well kept. As others have said, there's no Wi-Fi in the room. When I called for the password, I had to walk across the road to the security booth to get it. In my opinion, the price is too high for what you get and how it's delivered. It isn't worth US$200+ a night.

Our room was clean and had a great ocean view, and the hotel has a nice pool and facilities. The location is great, right beside a beach and close to the airport. The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi in our room, so we used our phone or laptop in the restaurant.

This was my second visit to Silver Point, and I loved my stay four years ago, but this one was even better. The friendly staff really make the hotel, with everyone going above and beyond to make sure we had a good visit. Make time for the restaurant too, the servers are the best. Kathy-Ann actually recognized me from four years ago, which impressed me, and Richelle arranged for a friend outside the resort to make one of my favorite dishes. My friend and I will be back next year.
