Melbourne Inn

The rooms had everything I needed, and beach towels were provided daily. Staff were lovely, too. They even called after I left something at the hotel, and gave me taxi receipts for my work trip. Great location on The Gap, just a two-minute walk from the public beach.

We had a smooth check-in and a really nice receptionist. The room had all we needed for our one night, including AC, good water pressure, a cute balcony, and a lovely king-sized bed. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of options. Service was a little slow, but we were on vacation and in no rush.

Dover market is just around the corner for groceries, treats, or alcohol, and the beach is a short walk down the street. Great location. We spent ten days in Barbados and would stay here again. The room was clean and a good size, with a nice balcony, safe, drawers, a cupboard for food, kettle, fridge, microwave, TV, and two counters. There was also space under the kitchen counter for our empty suitcases. It had maid service every other day. We looked for ice a few times and couldn't find a machine, but you can get it free at the pool bar. Then we discovered ice cube trays in the fridge, genius! The staff were very friendly, especially Charis at the front counter. The place felt very secure, with a key needed to enter the building. Thank you!

I'm here from April 17th to 19th and thrilled to be in Melbourne. The room is superb, and the service has been impeccable. The hotel was a little hard to find, but it's great overall.
