Ocean 15 Hotel

The rooms are spacious, with a decent kitchen and a nice shower with hot water. That’s about the only thing I liked. We asked for an early check-in and were told it might be an hour, even though the room was already cleaned and vacated. Staff at the bar and restaurant were rude and condescending. Karaoke night was worse. We weren’t right next to the bar, and there were only three or four people there, but off-key singing at full volume carried far enough to keep rooms within 50 meters from sleeping well. A rooster also started crowing around 3 in the morning. To be fair, I don’t think it was technically on the property. Still, this was hands down the worst place we stayed in Barbados. You can find better, even in the same neighborhood.

I’ve never stayed in the rooms, so I can’t comment on them, but I’ve been coming to Ocean 15 for breakfast since 2016. It’s a hidden gem, a little way from The Gap. On every island visit, I have my first breakfast there, my last one there, and plenty in between. The local breakfast is always presented the same way and tastes great every time. It’s a great choice for kids too.

We stayed here a few years ago, two adults and two young boys. While we were away on a day trip, three people came back to our room in a car. That shouldn’t happen without your approval. My husband’s gold chain, which he’d inherited from his grandmother, was missing. I honestly believe we were robbed. Once we brought it up, we were ignored, and we were leaving the next day. I don’t trust this place. It seemed very sketchy, and I wouldn’t stay here.

I enjoyed my two-night stay at Ocean 15 and would go back. Thanks for the excellent service! The apartment hotel isn’t all inclusive, but it has a bar, restaurant, and pool. The rooms are spacious and nice, and the kitchen is fully equipped, with a full-size fridge, a stove and oven, and utensils. If you’re after nightlife, St. lawrence gap, with its bars and nightclubs, is not too far away.
