This is a nice little studio apartment on the ground floor, right by the pool and about 20 paces from the beach. When I’m writing this in Nov. 2018, the beach is closed because of sewage problems farther along at Worthing/St. Laurence gap. The sea seemed clean, and you can walk west along the sand for five minutes to bathe. Rocks make it hard to get in at some spots when the tide is low, and the current can matter.

Worthing beach is peaceful and never crowded, so the quiet is right outside your door. The building sits on the beach, with a small pool and loungers if you’d rather stay by the water, or a few steps down to the sea. It’s also a great spot for seeing and swimming with turtles, with local restaurants and supermarkets close by. Walk along Carib beach to the far end, then swim or, even better, float back with the current.

I booked with Kevin, paid the deposit and bought my airfare, then he cancelled with a weak excuse about a double booking. I’m really disappointed by such a cavalier approach to renting.
