Hotel Graver Inn International

The place was below the standard of local hotels. The bathrooms were dirty, the bathtub had black stains, some lights were broken, and the blankets were stained too. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and the breakfast was bad. On the second day they served only one breakfast item. The AC was intentionally locked, and there was no lift. No one was dressed up, and whenever we went to reception there were no staff there. This is a very bad hotel, a scam, and not recommended. If you still want to stay, it’s at your own risk.

The door lock was broken, so we didn’t feel safe, and the room was dark, smelly, poorly lit, and never even sprayed for freshness. It felt like an abandoned storeroom. The bathroom water pressure was so low that taking a proper shower was difficult, utilities barely worked, the AC hardly cooled, and the bed was like a rock. The rooms were dirty, the food was awful, and room service was slow, unhelpful, and careless. Staff showed no interest in the guests, and the hospitality was nonexistent. Our whole team was frustrated. Instead of enjoying our time or focusing on work, we had to deal with this miserable place, and the trip to Kuakata was ruined. The beach is nearby, but that can’t make up for the experience. For the money they charge, it felt like daylight robbery. I wouldn’t wish this stay on anyone and wouldn’t spend a penny here again. I’d book anywhere else in Kuakata. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, a disaster to avoid.

The breakfast had only 3-4 items, and none of it tasted good. The food overall wasn’t tasty, and the staff weren’t cordial at all. Rooms were dirty, the washrooms were unclean and stinky, and they wouldn’t provide room service even after we asked several times. The AC and TV didn’t work properly. Hell.

The staff were friendly and well behaved, but the hotel quality was disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, the complimentary breakfast below average, and the room, especially the bathroom, wasn’t maintained well. There was no lift, which was inconvenient. The room rate was high for the quality and service, and the restaurant food cost more than nearby options. It seems to be one of the older hotels in the area, which might explain the decline. I hope management considers renovations and service improvements for future guests.
