The Avenue Hotel and Suites

The location is very convenient, and the room and service are still okay for the cost. This hotel used to be considered the best in Chittagong, though it looks a little outdated now.

For a moderate price, you get clean, spacious rooms and good airco, which matters. Breakfast is great, with a wide choice of Bangladeshi and Western food, yes, even cornflakes! Service is outstanding, just like the rest of this marvelous country. And for my North America followers wondering where velveta cheese went, look noooooo further, it’s here 😂🙏. Thank Avenue, I’ll be back. 👍

On this return visit to The Hotel Avenue in Chattogram last week for official work, I was reminded why the place feels familiar. It won’t be my last stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, as I remembered, and had what I needed: good Wi-Fi, room amenities, prompt room service, and a decent buffet breakfast. It isn’t overly luxurious, but the consistency is what I appreciate most. Staff are polite, helpful, and respectful of privacy, which matters after long workdays. The location is very convenient for work, close to key points around the city and easy to get around from. After a long day, it felt just right to return to a quiet, clean room and have tea on the spacious Baranda. I’d recommend it for a neat, professional, peaceful stay in the heart of Chattogram.

A decent, good hotel, and the staff were very nice. I recommend it.
