Falcon Beach Resort

I stayed there in May, 2025. The staff were professional, polite, and cordial, and I liked the place and its view. Spending time on the balcony was less pleasant because there was a bad smell around it and I couldn't figure out why. Also, during load-shedding, the generator at The Syaman Hotel made a very loud, irritating noise.

The room we were first told we'd get was on the first floor because we wanted early check-in, but they ended up giving us a room on the fourth floor, which I appreciated. We stayed in room 406. The location was why I booked: it's within 200 meters of Dolphin more, and if Sayeman Beach Resort & Ramada weren't there, the sea would be visible from our balcony. I also liked how quickly they responded on WhatsApp during the reservation and afterward. The room looked old, the walls were damp, and the bathroom was small enough that a shower got almost all its walls wet. I didn't like having to pay in full at check-in. They also asked how many towels and cushions we'd been given, which felt as if they thought we'd taken something. They asked after we'd checked out and were already in the transport in front of the hotel.

The room and service were very bad. The staff didn't feel safe or trustworthy: one came to the room and knocked at 3 am, and the reception staff were rude and uncooperative. This was such a bad hotel.

This was the worst hotel I've experienced in Cox'sbazar. The room smelled bad and the bathroom was dirty. When I asked for help, staff answered arrogantly and offered no solution. There was no hanger in the cabinet; when I asked, they immediately said hangers weren't available, without listening to the fact that I was asking the receptionist for an extra one. Avoid this hotel.
