The food was a real highlight during our three-day training stay. Breakfast and lunch were fresh, tasty, and nicely varied. Everyone we dealt with was polite, attentive, and professional, and the staff helped the program run smoothly. Being right beside the beach made breaks feel calm and refreshing, which made the training more enjoyable. The hotel brought together comfort, good food, and a relaxing setting. I'd happily return for work or a break.

The food was a treat, especially the fresh, authentic local fish. Try the pomfret or traditional Bhorta platters. Breakfast has a wide spread, from curries and parathas to international options. Staff were prompt and professional at check-in, and housekeeping and the concierge were attentive and friendly. They made the stay feel easy and stress-free. Seagull has a classic grand resort feel, with landscaped gardens and a large pool offering a peaceful escape from the city noise. From the balcony, sunset over the horizon is a quintessential Cox’s Bazar experience. The hotel sits directly on the beachfront with unobstructed Bay of Bengal views and sand just a few steps away. It's centrally placed too, so local spots like Burmese Market are easy to explore. Whether visiting as a family or for a romantic getaway, Seagull Hotel offers a refined stay that complements the beauty of the world's longest sea beach.

We chose it mostly for the location, since we were traveling with three elderly people and three kids. It's very close to the beach, with a nice pool and a playground for babies. Guests can use the beach beds for free at any time, 24/7. The rooms are older and only moderately good, and the complimentary breakfast was moderate too.

The reception really frustrated me. I called a few times with a question and got a generic answer before they hung up without helping. I asked the same thing when a staff member came to stock the mini fridge, and he came back with a useful answer within minutes. I understand reception may be busy at check-in, but the room service staff were very professional and helpful. This is specifically about in-room dining: the staff deserve recognition for top-tier service. I made a few specific food requests, and my meal arrived exactly how I wanted it. The milk tea tasted just like the kind we make at home. Loved it.
