I haven’t stayed here, but I sometimes eat at The Cinnamon Tree cafe. The food is really nice, and I like the calm atmosphere and the glass top. The staff are friendly and attentive. Their breakfast buffet is great, with a very wide selection. The location is good, too.

The room felt pretty small for what they charge per night. Still, the restaurant is attractive, the food tastes delicious, and the breakfast buffet has loads of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location is good.

The way the front desk brushed off my complaint made me feel like I was bothering them. The service staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, and this was easily the worst hotel stay I’ve had. I paid 6,000 BDT for the night of August 11 to the morning of August 12, mainly for the location near HatirJhil. For that money, I honestly would’ve rather stayed in a third-class hotel in Gulistan for 200 BDT. They gave me one dirty towel and no slippers, dental kit, or toothpaste. I called several times about slippers and a dental kit, and was told everything was “finished.” I also think most of the Google reviews here might be fake.

We went for our anniversary, and the service was horrible. We’d been promised a lake view but got a city view instead. We were also told two friends could visit, but when they arrived the receptionist wouldn’t let them come up to our room and insulted them. If that’s the policy, they should have told us when we asked. I wouldn’t recommend it.
