The bus counter is within walking distance, which was handy since I was traveling alone. But the low price didn’t make the stay worthwhile. The room was unclean, the AC wasn’t in good shape, and they don’t change the bedsheets after someone stays. You have to ask for everything, including soap, the AC remote, a receipt, and the Wi-Fi password.

One of the best hotels in Dhaka, elegant, cozy, and well maintained.

The price was decent for the accommodation, and the people at reception were friendly enough. It’s a little hard to spot from outside, and the stairways are very narrow. The room was clean, average-sized, and had a sofa, free Wi-Fi, and TV setup. For better Wi-Fi, choose a room closer to reception. There’s no dressing table. The washroom was clean, with a high commode and tiled floor. They supplied a small bar of soap and a few shampoo sachets, but you have to ask for toilet tissue and mosquito netting, coils, or spray. We bargained to about 1,400 taka for a room with two double beds. There’s no restaurant on site, so you’ll need to find food nearby. Pansi restaurant was fairly close, perhaps a 20 taka rickshaw ride away.

The hospitality was good, though the management system could be stronger. There was too much loud noise coming from reception. Still, for this price range, it’s okay value for money.

The bus counter is close enough to walk to, which is a plus, and I stayed here by myself. But it was cheap without being worth it. The room wasn’t clean, the AC wasn’t in good condition, and the bedsheets weren’t changed after a previous guest. You have to request each thing separately, from soap and the AC remote to a receipt and the Wi-Fi password.
