The rooms were dirty enough to make me sick, and the washrooms weren’t usable. There was a bad smell coming from the drain all the time. The reception decorations are nice, and the rooms are cheap, but you might find similarly low-priced rooms that are kept hygienic.

I had paid in advance and had a confirmed noon check-in at Green Leaf Guest House. After traveling from Dhaka, I arrived around 8:00 AM and called reception to ask if we could leave our luggage for a few hours while we explored. The staff acted as though helping was a huge favor and showed very poor manners. Their rude, uncaring attitude made us feel unwelcome, so I had to find another resort. I’d advise travelers who care about respect and good service to avoid this place. There are plenty of better options in Sreemangal where guests are treated courteously.

For budget accommodation, this was good value. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good furnishings. It’s also easy to reach and conveniently close to the bus stand.

The reception is organized, but the rooms aren’t. There’s no lift, so you’ll need to climb the stairs to the third floor. Still, it’s okay for a family stay.

The room was okay, but the toilet had no flush. We booked three rooms and found the same problem in two of them, so we had to use the shared bathroom.
