I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families. At check-in, I showed my booking voucher, which said breakfast was paid for all four of us, but reception insisted my children’s breakfast wasn’t included and asked for extra payment. The duty manager wouldn’t listen or try to sort it out, and kept directing me to the sales manager. I’ve never had such rude treatment at another hotel. Some staff were polite during our stay, but others weren’t, so be careful. The rooms also need a full renovation. They’re in poor condition and look nothing like the pictures from when the hotel was new. The positive reviews seem to be mostly from solo travelers.

The bathroom fittings could use an update, and the hotel needs renovation. Still, the rooms are quite spacious, and both breakfast and buffet dinner were decent, with a fair amount of choice. A good stay, just not exceptional.

Alhamdulillah, I got married yesterday and was so happy with our stay at Rose View Hotel. The cake they gave us was a lovely highlight. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very well behaved with excellent communication. A big thank you to the whole team! ❤️❤️❤️

I booked in May 2025 and had an online confirmation showing the booking was paid. Then, less than a day before we were due to arrive, the hotel cancelled because it said it was overbooked. We’re a family of four traveling from London, and I was already in Dhaka when I called. The night duty manager said BPL had booked 95% of the hotel, so they had cancelled many guests, and told me to call the day shift manager. The day manager claimed they had never received my booking. I sent him the hotel’s email confirming the booking and airport pick-up by WhatsApp, and then he seemed stuck and didn’t know what to say. This was disgraceful, and I don’t think the hotel can be trusted. Book with caution.

The rooms are a little old, but the comfort was up to standard and I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good too, with plenty of tasty buffet options.
