We spent three lovely days here while travelling around Belgium, with visits to Dinant, Brussels, Ghent and Liège. The hotel has its own feel, mixing history, a warm family atmosphere and relaxation. There's a private lake and forest area for a peaceful stay, as well as comfortable free parking. The team was friendly, attentive to details and quick to sort out any problems. Our clean room was comfortable, and the bar had a good range of drinks and snacks at fair prices. Breakfast was well organized, especially the freshly brewed coffee and tea and the hot omelette with bacon. I'd gladly come back.

Breakfast was nice, but the woman serving it was very unfriendly. There was a party right below our room, and the music was so loud we couldn't sleep until it stopped at 3:30. The hotel has other rooms in a quieter area, but we weren't given one.

The people and the location were amazing. We came to Leuven for medical reasons, but staying here was such a bright part of the trip that it nearly made us forget why we were in Belgium. This fairytale place in the woods is run by beautiful people with beautiful hearts, and it played a huge part in making our time here feel like a little slice of heaven. If you want to switch off from life's hectic pace, this is the place. The small lake, with birds and ducks all around it, is the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back soon. We really enjoyed our time here. The surrounding nature makes it a beautiful place. The rooms are a little simple, but have what you need, especially good beds. The breakfast was very good, with tasty fresh-baked bread and lots of spreads. Dinner is made with tons of passion, so eating is a real pleasure. The menu isn't huge, but the staff will help if you have specific wishes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and did a great job making us and the other guests comfortable. Even the best accommodation has its downsides. Still, I'd recommend this place as very good.
