Hotel Kasteel Solhof

The honesty bar was a real plus, easy to use and stocked with a great range of wine and local beer. Our room was spacious and cozy, breakfast was good, and the staff were super nice. The building feels a little dated, though, and I thought it was odd that there was no room cleaning on the weekend.

It’s quiet and peaceful here, a lovely place to relax. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel is delightful.

The meeting rooms worked perfectly for our 40 participants, and the lunch buffet had plenty of flavourful choices for all dietary needs. Adriano, the owner and managing director, welcomed us warmly and was clearly focused on making sure we were happy. His team were friendly and professional too, always willing to go the extra mile. We were in Antwerp as part of the World Europe Tour organized by our spiritual and humanitarian organization, after visits to Helsinki, Glasgow, London, Frankfurt, and the Netherlands. Kasteel Solhof gave us a personal, welcoming place to stay in Aartselaar. The spacious rooms were much larger than those in a typical hotel and felt comfortable and elegant. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide buffet of traditional Belgian delicacies, from fresh pastries to savoury options. We left with cherished memories of the hotel's hospitality and unique charm.

The rooms are nice and big, and the surroundings are beautiful. It’s an old building, but it still holds up and delivers. The staff are very nice, and the price to cost ratio is very good.
