Residence Breydelhof

I was on a business call when the cleaner shouted at my wife and son to leave. The owner ignored the cleaner’s behavior and acted like nothing had happened. Extremely rude housekeeping and ridiculous service. We’re extremely frustrated. Stay somewhere better, where you’ll be treated well.

The apartment stayed lovely and warm throughout our winter visit, and it was clean and cosy. We had a fantastic stay, with a location just a few minutes’ scenic walk from anywhere we wanted to go. I had a couple of questions before arriving and got answers straight away. Just watch your head on the mezzanine floor!

The place and the apartments are nice, which makes the poor service such a shame. Because of a reservation mistake, we got a room for two instead of three, and one of us slept very poorly on a stretcher. Mistakes happen, of course, but this wasn’t what we paid for, so we asked for compensation. She only offered apologies and got mad when we said we weren’t happy with that. She said she only works with satisfied customers and that we should book somewhere else if we weren’t satisfied.

Everything we needed was here for our four-night stay, and the apartment felt quirky but comfortable. I did bump my head on the low wooden beams by the bed a couple of times, though.
