1001 Nights loft citycenter with balconyview

The quick replies to messages were a lovely surprise. I had a really nice stay in this cozy, classic house. Thank you so much, and I hope the new hosts enjoy it too.

We booked Japandi Lofts - 2 bedrooms in old city Antwerpen through booking.com, and I’d say avoid it. Less than 48 hours before check-in, I got a WhatsApp call saying the apartment wasn’t available. The alternatives she suggested didn’t suit us, and replies were very slow. She kept pushing me to cancel the booking myself to get a refund, which felt like she was trying to leave me without any rights through booking.com. After a lot of back and forth, they finally acknowledged they couldn’t host us and cancelled on their side, less than 24 hours before check-in. It completely wrecked our Christmas holiday with our two little children. This company was dishonest in how it handled things.

The place is close to Antwerp’s gorgeous centre, yet far enough away for quiet nights. It has what you need to feel at home on holiday. Good for a couple, ideal for four, and six can manage. I’d consider staying here again on my next visit.

The view was amazing, but that was all we liked. The shower and showerhead were really dirty, and the curtains were loose in several places. Lights above the bed kept flickering, so we couldn’t use them. Hallway lights came on when people passed outside and shone into our room, which was annoying. The man in the next room kept going up and down the stairs around midnight and slammed the door loudly. For this price, I wouldn’t stay again.
