Hotel FRANQ

We stayed at House of Franq twice in 2025 for a few days each time, first around July and then in the second week of November. Both visits exceeded our expectations. The online check-in was clear and efficient, and everyone from the front desk to the restaurants was polite, prompt, and friendly. We are from Asia, and the staff spoke good English. The rooms were spacious and very clean. There was also a decent gym and an interesting room in the basement where you can see an old bank vault. We'll definitely stay here again next year when we visit Antwerp.

We booked one night, then added another after arriving. We were told the second room was cheaper than our original booking, and yes, it was a lower category. But at checkout we found it had actually cost twice as much, something no one had told us, and they insisted we pay. The second room had no bed linen, blankets, duvets, or pillows, so we had to ask for them late in the evening. Toiletries were missing in both rooms too. We thought these things could happen and wrote to the hotel three times, but never got a reply. This was a very bad experience. I wouldn't book here again. Nice try, but definitely not worth the money.

The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were nice, and the staff were attentive. I loved the toiletries from clinique, as well as the slippers and robe. I'm usually not a fan of waterfall showers, but ours was amazing. The hotel was really lovely, with great decor, a good location, and an amazing breakfast. There were warm fresh pastries, salmon, meats and cheeses, eggs, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. What more could you ask for?

The location was very good, and the rooms and shared spaces were beautiful. The staff were kind. I would've liked more variety at breakfast.
