Leonardo Hotel Antwerp The Plaza

The breakfast was excellent, generous, and high quality. The hotel clearly indicates arrival times, and it's best to pay attention to them to avoid queues. We stayed two nights and had a positive experience overall, helped by a reception team that was friendly, helpful, and professional from the start. The main letdown was cleanliness: the beds were clean and neatly made, but there was dust in the room, and some cutlery and glasses had marks and weren't properly clean. That needs more care. I'd also suggest taking a bit more care with specific customer requests, and asking if something is unclear, since that could prevent mistakes and improve the service.

We had a really good experience. The back garden was nice, and the room had plenty of space, with a big bathroom and shower. The beds were large and very comfortable, with fresh linen, and everything was very nice and clean.

The balcony facing the garden was a real bonus for morning coffee, and the room stayed quiet all night, so I slept well. It was large, comfortable, spotless, and equipped with modern furnishings. The hoteliers were top quality and the service impeccable.

The helpful, friendly staff were a definite plus, as was the clean, well-kept deluxe double room, which was very spacious. I can't quite decide between three and four stars, so 3.5 would fit. The breakfast selection and the parking were the drawbacks. Parking was some distance away and cost 21 euros per night.
