The location is a little outside downtown, about a 30-minute walk. I didn’t mind the distance, though families might prefer taking an Uber to the city center. It’s a small compromise for a stay I absolutely loved. The food was incredibly tasty, and the rooms had the classic Moxy style. Most of all, the staff at Moxy were incredibly kind and welcoming. They let me into my room at 11 a.m., well before the scheduled check-in, and gave me a late check-out too, which I really appreciated. For around €80 per night, it’s hard to find this level of quality, friendliness and comfort. I wasn’t expecting too much, so I was genuinely very happy with the experience.

We stayed in three Moxy hotels as a family of four with two teenagers from 24 - 31 December, going from Antwerp to Amsterdam and then Amiens. Seeing them back to back made the differences pretty clear, and Antwerp came out on top by far. The staff there were warm, lively and welcoming from the start. Music throughout the hotel helped give it a fun social feel, and the welcome drinks and versatile, well-made menu added to the stay. Our room was clean, stylish and comfortable, and the place felt upbeat without being chaotic. It was our favourite, and the team really got the Moxy feel right. Amsterdam was practical, with a better games area and gym setup, but after a late check-in on the 27th we found the welcome only average. Without music it felt flat, and the room's lack of carpet made it feel colder and less cosy, especially for a family. Amiens was comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful. Everything worked well, though the lack of background music made it feel quiet and it didn't have Antwerp's spark. All three were clean and modern, and worked for a family with teenagers. Antwerp stood out for its staff and lively atmosphere. We like modern design and a social hotel that feels fun rather than formal.

The room was clean and stylish, and the queen bed felt wonderful after a long day on foot. Space is tight, though, especially for two people with large suitcases. The pillows were too soft for us, with only two small ones, and the shower cubicle is small. There's no bathtub, and no gym either, so fitness buffs will need another plan. What makes the stay appealing is the friendly, helpful staff and the easy location. The hotel sits in a quiet area, with a tram stop a short walk away for reaching the main shopping districts. A supermarket open until 8 pm, a petrol station and parking are nearby. The modern design and cosy lobby have a good social feel, and the check-in desk doubles as a bar with a free welcome drink. The 24/7 snack corner was handy for late-night cravings. Breakfast cost €15 per person, but I'd skip it next time. The choice was limited, with scrambled eggs and bacon as the hot options, basic bread, cheese and hams, machine juice rather than fresh, and no egg station. It felt overpriced for what was served. Still, I had a really good stay. The atmosphere and service make up for the small room, lack of gym and breakfast. A stylish, convenient Antwerp base if you plan to eat breakfast elsewhere or work out outdoors.

The staff were 10/10, and the area felt safe. It's near the city centre and popular sights, and the hotel is new with super modern decor. The rooms aren't huge, but they're big by Moxy standards.

Savanne made our first trip to Belgium feel special. Her warm, genuine smile was there as soon as we arrived, and she helped us with local tips that made exploring Antwerp feel easy and exciting. That kindness stayed with us after we'd left, almost like meeting a friend in a new city. She also made check-in smooth and mixed a delicious cocktail at the bar. Savanne was attentive throughout, with a personal touch alongside her professionalism. If you're looking for warm, thoughtful hospitality at Moxy Antwerp Hotel, she's someone you'll want to meet.
