Connecting rooms are a must for our family, and this place has them. Its location is convenient, and after staying here for years I still find reasons to return: kind, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, a little gym, Rituals sets in the bathroom, and the Tesla supercharger. The rooms aren't all at the same stage, though. Some have been renovated while others feel dated. I'd love to see an investor upgrade the whole hotel, since there are still things that could be improved.

I come here for business around 6 to 10 times per year, but I wouldn't choose it for a private trip. Today I told reception about an unacceptable shower condition and was only told I could write an E-Mail about my complaint. For a “4star” hotel, I expect a bit more.

The stay itself was just okay, but the staff weren't. The night receptionist was cold and spoke rudely. I needed urgent help from the manager, but they didn't assist, and Accor customer care was unresponsive because the manager was on Easter leave. They didn't want to disturb the manager even for something urgent and important. In the afternoon, the cleaning lady came into our room without permission, even though we'd said that morning we didn't need cleaning.

Thomas cook booked this hotel as part of our pur premioum europe pkg, sensational europe, but it had very little to offer. Breakfast was limited, there were no toliotaries, the wash room was small like a hostel and the bed was very uncomfortable. The single man in charge of breakfast was bery rude and non responsive. He seemed to be managing everything alone, so ask management to increase manpower. Just don't stay here.

We had a clean hotel and a nice breakfast, and the nights were quiet. The staff were friendly too. We booked two rooms for a very nice weekend with friends in Antwerpen. It's in the Port area, and you can get to the center quickly, but the downside is that you need a car.
