A little dated, but clean, quiet, and everything worked fine. The breakfast was really good. It’s near the city centre, but there’s no noise from it.

The bathroom was dirty, with leftover pills on the sink, and there was no shower. The room was in a really poor, run-down state, and the corridor carpet smelled bad and looked filthy. Noise came through from other rooms and outside because the soundproofing was so poor. There was no air conditioning in the room, though there seemed to be some in the corridor and certain rooms, perhaps in a makeshift setup. The hotel was extremely noisy, and the price was far too high for the quality and service. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone afraid of horror movies.

The location is great, but the rooms are old and worn, and the heat made our stay very uncomfortable. It was 25 degrees in the room even though it was only 22 outside. When we asked about air conditioning, the desk clerk said there wasn’t any in the rooms and seemed surprised we’d asked. They offered fans, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room had plenty of space, with enough cupboards for clothes and a good-sized table to work at. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was excellent. One thing to watch out for: I slipped and fell while bathing because the bathtub was very slippery to stand in.
