I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but after staying at this hotel I feel I have to. I left a positive review on Booking.com at first, because I hadn’t yet noticed that I’d forgotten my makeup bag in room 322. I’m completely sure I left it there. When I contacted the hotel, they said “nothing had been found.” That was their one reply. I haven’t heard from them since, and they showed no interest in helping or following up. They could check the cameras to see who entered the room and who cleaned it after I left, but they showed no intention of looking into what happened. I find the handling of lost belongings very serious, especially the lack of follow-up and care afterward. There was no solution and the hotel took no responsibility in my case. I’d advise future guests to be especially careful with their belongings. This experience has completely changed how I see the hotel.

The hotel is in a posh, clean, beautiful area, surrounded by restaurants with excellent food. The location is its best feature, with everything you need, including the tram, central station, and restaurants, within walking distance. The hotel itself is amazing, always smells good, and the rooms are cleaned nicely every day. My room was huge and had a complimentary coffee station and water filter, plus 24/7 reception. The bathroom seemed a little outdated, but it was completely clean and working.

A clean, affordable, central, welcoming hotel that’s a great choice for a short stay in Antwerp, especially if you’re going to the stadsschouwburg theater and want to stay nearby. There were a few small issues, but the staff on shift made up for them with quick, accommodating service. Many thanks to the night manager, who’s highly capable and treats the place as if it were his own. I’ll definitely be back!

The service was horrible. The phone didn’t work and there was no soap in the bathroom. The building and rooms are really old, the elevators are very slow, and breakfast was average for the price. The price is extremely high for what you get.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. It’s ideally located just a stone’s throw from the central station. I’d definitely recommend it!
