Urban Dreams

The room was nice, and the common area has a water dispenser and a kettle with tea and coffee. The place is funny and lovingly decorated, with a really nice ambience. The staff were friendly, and the location is great, about five minutes from Grote Markt and other sights. There are some drawbacks. The stairs are steep and narrow, and when we arrived in the evening in November, the room was really cold because the heating was off. For a longer stay, having windows only in the bathroom would be a bit inconvenient. If you arrive late, nobody is there, so you have to call and wait. I’d written a longer review with lots of photos, but it was rejected, so I reposted without them. Too much work to add them all again, though this place is awesome.

We’ve stayed here on every visit to Antwerp, and we’ll no doubt book again. It’s a stylish B&B in a very central spot, a few minutes from the main square, restaurants, bars and shops, and just behind the quay of the Schelde river. The beds and shower are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is great. We can fully recommend it to anyone.

We stayed as a family and had a perfect time. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. A fantastic little hotel in central Antwerp. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back.

There’s no air conditioning, which I knew about, but I happened to be there on the hottest day of the year. The location is great, facing a small square, and very quiet and peaceful. Staff were nice, the shower was good and the beds comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel next door was a good, normal three-star breakfast. There’s free coffee and tea in the B&B.
