The restaurant looked nice for our small wedding, but it was much too hot inside and there was no air conditioning. We had to ask for a fan so we could keep dancing. We’d paid in advance for the rooms upstairs so we could have the party, yet the owner later complained that it was too loud because of the people, not the music. The meal was disappointing too: the steak arrived cold, portions were small, and empty bottles weren’t replaced even though we’d paid for “à volonté.” There weren’t enough people serving. The owner seemed interested only in the money. I wish I’d asked to see samples of the menu and confirmed the quantities beforehand. The rooms weren’t worth the price either; you can find better and cheaper places in Ath. I was disappointed in the end.

The room was spacious, with stylish furnishings, and the bathroom was beautiful. It’s a shame the bathroom is shared with the other rooms. Breakfast was well looked after, and coffee, bread and the rest were quickly topped up when they ran out. The lady was friendly and very helpful. We’d definitely come back.

The outdoor area was comfortable, and the place itself was pretty and clean. The waitress was also super friendly, helpful and pleasant. But we weren’t told there’d be a Romanian baptism party, and only found out at the last minute. It was a huge party, the soundproofing was terrible, and I couldn’t sleep until 3 a.m. Drinks and breakfast had to be paid for in cash. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d strongly advise against staying here. It’s a shame.
