The interior was darker than expected because little light gets in, and for the price, the house itself fell short of what I expected. Outside, there's a big garden with a nice view, shared with the B&B guests, three cats, and a few chickens. The hosts were friendly. In July it was extremely windy, and the air smelled really bad most of the time, which seemed due to the heavy agriculture all around.

Ann and Yves are fantastic, wonderful owners. The B&B is beautiful, with large rooms and new furniture, in a peaceful part of the Belgian countryside near the borders with the Netherlands and Germany.

A good choice for a quiet, secluded getaway. If you're hoping to do tourism, though, it's quite far out of town.

Breakfast alone was a feast, with organic, local, homemade food, plus pancakes and fried eggs Ann cooked to order. We had a friendly chat and got helpful tips, too. After arriving late in the evening, we were glad to settle into the cozy bedroom and woke feeling refreshed. It's a peaceful, beautiful place with a view over the surrounding area. We'll definitely return!
