Ô Macra House - Aubel, Pays de Herve

Ann and Yves are such warm, thoughtful hosts. They helped us with everything, from hiking and cycling routes to finding the supermarket and bakery. On arrival, the bed was made and plenty of towels were ready, so we could start our holiday right away. A cot and high chair were set out for our youngest guest when we asked. The cottage in Aubel is cozy, modern, and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and household supplies. We could use the lovely, peaceful garden, where the chickens roam freely, and there are plenty of outdoor tables and chairs for meals on warm days. Definitely recommended. We've already planned another visit. Thank you, Ann and Yves, for the warm welcome, and to cats Lewis, Django and Boris for all the cuddles.

Ann and Yves are glad to help with tips and advice, and Yves is a perfect guide for the tour of Val Dieu abbey, basilica, and brewery. The place is well equipped and everything is in order, with a warm welcome and a lovely location. It's a handy base for walking, city visits, cycling, and nearby makers of regional products, including the syrup shop and Herve cheese. Children are catered for too. Highly recommended!

All six of us slept well in the spacious bedrooms, with lovely beds and complete quiet outside. The kitchen has everything needed to cook, plus there's a large dining table and cozy sitting area. The 'football table' brought out a bit of competitive spirit among the twenty-somethings ;-). We also enjoyed the beautiful walking and cycling area, the abbey and brewery visit, and eating outdoors on the terrace. Ann and Yves gave us a very warm, kind welcome. Their cottage is in lovely surroundings where you can really unwind. We loved our stay!

Green surroundings and a stunning view make this a beautiful place to stay. Ann and Yves are attentive and welcoming, and made our time in their holiday home comfortable and pleasant. We really enjoyed it.
