The restaurant meal and service were good, but dining with a large group was expensive, around $20 per person for pizza and pasta. At the hotel, the rooms were comfortable and check-in and checkout were easy. Breakfast was OK, with cereal, juice, croissants, pain au chocolate, meat, fruit, and cheese. The food itself was good, but no one was replenishing things, so we had to look around for bowls, cutlery, and cereal. There weren’t enough seats for everyone there at once. The hotel is on the main road, and noise came and went through the night and early the next morning. Public parking is within a five-minute walk. Some signs made it seem paid, but I couldn’t find payment instructions, so I asked a restaurant waiter, who said it was free.

A charming boutique hotel with a large, comfortable bedroom and a lovely breakfast area. Parking and restaurants are close by. Great value, with very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We arrived early without a booking and were lucky to get a table, as the place soon filled up and clearly has a great reputation. The staff were helpful, and English speakers are available if needed. The portions are huge, and we had a delicious meal.

This is only about the restaurant/pizzeria. The food was fairly decent, which is the sole reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. A huge, very loud and rude group ruined the experience for us and two other parties. They seemed to be friends with the owner, who stopped by their table several times and joined in the yelling and boisterous laughter. The group acted as if they owned the restaurant, and the owner did nothing to rein them in. She seemed to encourage them. At one point every waitress left, leaving the owner to serve the remaining customers. Service had already been slow and poor, and after that it was basically nonexistent. We’ve never waited so long for a pizza. There are plenty of restaurants around Bastogne’s center at similar prices, so I see no reason to spend time and money at Giorgi. A very disappointing experience.
