We felt right at home in the roomy house in the beautiful village of Bourcy. Charlotte and her husband were warm, kind hosts who were always ready to help. Our friends' baby had a great time crawling around the house, and I’m already looking forward to another visit. I’d definitely recommend it.

The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped kitchen. I like to cook and found everything I needed. The nearby village is cute, too. Charlotte and her husband were respectful, responsive, and made sure our stay went smoothly. They even had a highchair and crib ready for our friends' seven-month-old baby, which was so kind. Just remember this isn't a hotel, so you'll need to bring coffee, sugar, tea, salt, and pepper. I'm sure Charlotte would provide them if you asked ahead, she's that kind.

Bourcy is a lovely base for getting around, and the surroundings are beautiful. We spent a wonderful week in the house, which is beautiful and fully equipped. There were good beds, toys and games for the children, and we didn't want for anything. The children even got a nice little Easter gift.

The house has a big living room and kitchen, a garden with a trampoline, and plenty of space for a family. The children's room has a bunk bed and a single bed; there's also a smaller double room and a main bedroom with a large double bed and walk-in closet. Downstairs you'll find a washer and dryer, though there are no drying racks or clothesline. The house is beautiful and luxurious, with everything you need. Bourcy itself has little to do, but there's plenty to explore nearby. Be aware that a neighborhood party may fall on a Friday in August. The road can be closed from Wednesday to Sunday, DJs may play until at least 3:00 AM Friday, and after Sunday's barbecue the organizers may keep the loud music going late. Charlotte had warned us politely and asked if we still wanted to book, so this wasn't her fault. Still, I wouldn't recommend staying overnight in Bourcy during those holidays. The locals didn't seem willing to consider guests, even when we asked at 00:30 on Sunday night if they could turn the music down so we could sleep.

The cottage is only 10 minutes from Bastogne, and it's very clean and well cared for. We slept comfortably, and the amenities were excellent. We'd gladly come back for another stay in the countryside.
