We only booked this campsite because it was handy for Brugge, and it really isn't our kind of place. The lopped plane trees leave it looking bleak, with caravans and campers all around, while noise from the nearby E40 means earplugs tonight. It also feels impersonal. At €27, plus another €5 for a shower, it seemed expensive for the time of year, after high season. And the shower code we paid for hadn't been loaded, so no shower before bed. 😤

A handy regular stop for us before or after the channel crossing. The site and toilet block are clean and tidy, and there's a bar and takeaway on site. The town centre has good shops and a supermarket for stocking up.

Really nice campsite, with Bruges about a 25-minute bus ride away. It costs €3 per person, and taking the dogs on the bus was no problem.

The plots feel cramped, especially for a large caravan or motorhome, and our exit barrier code didn't work. Check-in was chaotic, with poor signs, and the check-in spot isn't by the campsite entrance. Showers take some figuring out because they're paid and you need a code. It's right by the motorway, though there's a good bus connection into Brugge.

We hired bikes at the campsite and rode our electric ones to Bruges along the canal. Such beautiful scenery. We were camping there too, and it's an amazing site in a great location.
