We returned with another family and had a great time camping, with plenty of nearby walks, hikes, and mountain biking to enjoy. The campsite services were excellent and made things comfortable for everyone. It’s a great spot for a week away, especially with family.

The bar and restaurant served lovely food at reasonable prices, and the site was very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights while passing through Belgium and enjoyed the facilities, including the pool. It was so hot that we stayed on site, and had a great time as a couple. There are lovely forest areas and loads for children to do. It’s very child friendly, so I imagine it could be busy with kids during school holidays.

We stopped here on the way to Germany for the F1 at Spa, about an hour and a half away. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome and check-in was simple. Our caravan pitch took some effort to reverse onto because of a small grassy ramp, but we got there. The facilities block was nearby, though shower flow and temperature were unpredictable. The restaurant and bar were great, with good food and plenty of drinks at fair prices. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. You can ride straight into the forest, but bring spare inner tubes, as we got a flat. Cycling into town was pleasant too. I’d recommend the site to family and friends, especially those with younger children.

There’s loads for children here, from the big pool and play area to the sports facilities and other activities. Mario or Luigi even ride around on a scooter delivering pizza to your pitch. What’s not to love?
