The garden, decorations, friendly dogs, and well-kept layout made for a lovely atmosphere, and the woman in charge was a great host. But manners matter, and the man was extremely rude. I understand guests may need reminding to shut the door, but shouting in their faces and saying, "This is my house! Door closed! Don't let me come again" is unacceptable. There are kinder ways to say it. I've hosted people too, and when something wasn't right, I reminded them politely with a smile. Yelling at guests isn't the way.

The garden had plenty of space, and the common areas were roomy but still felt gezellig. We had a great Ascension weekend with friends, with lovely rooms and beds. Lewis and Harriet were very cute dogs too.

Akrenbos 101 made a great starting point for cycling and seeing some of Belgium's lovely sights. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back!

The towels were a welcome bonus, and the rooms with private bathrooms looked brand new and were spotlessly clean. The house itself is beautifully designed.

Great place, clean and relaxing, with plenty of interesting character. It also gives you amazing access to local cycling and attractions. We had an amazing stay, highly recommend.
