The owners were easy to get in touch with, and I’d recommend the place. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and hostels, and even with the less favorable reviews, I honestly think this one deserves more stars. It’s one of the least expensive places around, with a price that matches the quality and facilities. The place is getting stronger. If someone has no high expectations of life, they shouldn’t damage another person’s reputation. People for people.

A friendly family-run hotel, just by the beach and close to shops and bars. Breakfast was included and nice. It’s perfect for the price, and I’ll be back.

A real local feel, which we loved. Our bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, and the shower was much bigger than expected. I think it was a hostel, but we had a double room with a lock to ourselves. It’s a five minute walk from the station and three minutes from the beach and promenade. We ended up here at the last minute in July 2018 after a train strike left us stuck in Blankenberge. They took us in without any trouble. In the morning, the reception area was busy with people having breakfast, and the lovely lady owner was so pleased to hear we’d slept well. If you like simple, homely, affordable stays, I’d highly recommend Logies Lucullus :)
