B&B Eremyten Hof

It feels like a little authentic hotel with the atmosphere of a B&B, which I really liked. The building and rooms are beautiful, and the garden has geese, beehives and a pond. Our host was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was excellent.

We had a really good time at the Eremyten Hof B&B. Elke and Bart were lovely and clearly know how to look after their guests. The bed was just average, though we were tired enough to sleep fine. The bathroom is roomy and well designed, and there’s a small park and pond behind the house, with geese too. The place is more than decent, with a few restaurants nearby and Ghent not too far away. I’d definitely recommend it. A good experience.

We came back for a second year in a row, staying in early September. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and the roomy top-floor room worked well for three old army mates visiting Gent for the Liberation Ceremonies. Breakfast was very nice, and the trams into Gent aren’t too far away.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful 13th-century mansion, now a BnB not far from Ghent. The owners speak English and are very friendly. Our room was clean and had its own character. The house sits among trees on several well-kept acres in a small village, just a short bus ride from downtown Ghent. They even make beer from the original recipe, which is over 700 years old. We’ll be back!
