What a bargain for the price. I only stayed one night, but was really impressed. The room was clean, warm, tastefully decorated, and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty too. The location was excellent, right by the river and within walking distance of all the restaurants.

Eating at the hotel restaurant 'Aux Armes de Bouillon' was unbelievably bad. My meat came out raw, barely touched by a pan, because the cook couldn't tell medium rare from very rare. After waiting 15 minutes, we were suddenly served dry pasta instead of fries. Find a better chef and stop this tourist trap.

The service was good, and the woman at the desk was kind and very friendly. The hotel itself felt too old and somehow quite creepy. In summer, be ready for the heat, especially on the upper floors. The third floor seemed almost abandoned, see picture.

We stopped in for drinks and some side food, but the waitress spilled both on me and my boyfriend. Then she brought grissini with olive paste, and we wondered if that was just a tasting while our 13€ starter was still coming. It never arrived. It felt like a robbery, and the whole thing was extremely unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it were the only bar in town.

Dinner was lukewarm, and the cream sauce arrived without any cream. The cheese and charcuterie board was even more ridiculous for 11 euros: just a few slices of supermarket cheese and salami. Don't order it.
